Kareena Kapoor is known for the utmost care with which she selects her clothes and accessories. So, when she was recently invited to inaugurate a jewellery store close to her home, the fashion-conscious diva gladly accepted. “I especially like diamonds,” said Kareena, when we asked about her penchant for jewels. “I think they make me look more beautiful.” While she is often gifted jewellery, she makes her own decisions when it comes to fashion. “Fashion should always be understated. Jewellery, too, should be classic. That’s the way I dress.”
Kareena does manage to abide by her own fashion rules most of the time. This time, however, she wore a flaming red shirt, casual blue jeans and — surprise, surprise — elaborate diamond-studded green earrings! Is she planning to start a ‘mismatch’ trend? Watch Kareena and be the judge!
