Femina Miss India World 2008, Parvathy Omanakuttan, represented youth and glamour at the launch of aviation academy Flying Cats’ campaign. While there, the beauty queen highlighted the common factor between her own industry and the field of aviation. “It’s glamour,” says Parvathy. “It’s about the way you carry yourself, the way you present yourself, and the amount of confidence you possess.”
Nowadays, youngsters get to choose from a wide range of career options. So it’s always welcome when public personalities inspire them to opt for a particular field and help make an informed decision. Parvathy was here to do just that. “According to me, there are three main benefits of joining the aviation industry,” she says. “First, you get to see the world. Second, you get a really good pay cheque. Third, you get to serve the people. It’s a combination of these three things the youth are interested in.”
